I lost my home

Hello, My name is Victoria...

My address is 24143 Rockview Dr. in Crestline....I just bought my home the first of Oct and the movers delivered everything on the 9th...I'm a Flight Attendant so I'm gone quite a bit.....Saturday,Oct 25th, the day the fire started I was home enjoying setting up and decorating my new home.....What a view !!! I'm on the rim and I overlook all of San Bernardino and beyond...... Needless to say, I watched when the fire started and crept up the hill. When the power went out I thought it best to get down off the mountain. Since I had to fly on Mon anyway, I went to my friends house where I had lived before buying my own home..... Fumbling around trying to find things, I headed out the door to run smack dab into a family of very frightened bears......never dreaming I would not be returning to my dream house as it once was. I was finally able to return Sun, Nov 9th.......Most of that time I didn't know if I still had a home to come back to......I finally received conformation from your <fireupdate.com> site....You didn't give my address, but you gave the street and listed the houses in a group....that was my first conformation.....then word came from a neighbor who actually was up there and saw them all burn....
I want to thank you for your dedication and all the great men and women who tried desperately to save our homes and mountains....It's sad that the "Powers That Be" pulled the resources off the fire when it first started.....This was a tragedy that could have been prevented.....I'm saddened by the events, but will pick up the pieces and rebuild......I have my health, family and friends all to support me.....I pray help will be there for those that are less fortunate...
I am including a "before and after" photo to share with you......Thru the photos you have posted, I have made a silent bond with those who have lost their homes.....Thank you again for your contribution.

Sincerely,
Victoria
